Inferno Race

The largest amateur race in the global skiing sport is held in Wengen. It was initiated by ski enthusiasts from Britain in 1928. Since then, hundreds of snow enthusiasts participate in the (friendly) competition year after year. The course covers nearly fifteen highly varied (including flat and even ascending) kilometers of slopes from Schilthorn to Lauterbrunnen.
